Personal Statement
	I currently serve as the Assistant Director of the Industrial Assessment Center at the University of Michigan. This center is one of twenty six in the US which are sponsored by the Department of Energy. In executing my duties for the center, I frequently lead a team of undergaduate students on audits of manufacturing companies. It is interesting to see the many methods companies use to attack their energy and waste cost. I look forward to discussing with fellow forresters issues on energy use and pollution reduction for a sustainable future.
